Super GT International Series Malaysia
Super GT International Series Malaysia 9-10 June 2012, Sepang Circuit
Jon had an unusual ‘retreat’ during the June school holidays. Accepting the kind invitation from Motul, the family headed to Sepang Circuit to watch the Super GT International Series Malaysia.
Upon entering, we were first greeted by the Motor Show with some exotic cars on display. We also visited the Motul booth to say hi to our friends. On Saturday, we watched the Support Race and Super GT Qualifying. The boys were totally engrossed and thrilled by the loud noise and smoke created by the speedy machines.
There were five teams under the sponsorship of Motul.

In addition to the race tickets, we were also given a “Pit walkabout” Pass which accorded us the privilege to get up close and personal to the race cars, race teams and GT queens. Unfortunately, all the drivers were nowhere to be seen! It was certainly a great experience to be on the opposite side of the spectators seats.
We were also given a nice treat to Motul’s Corporate suite to enjoy the cool air and delicious meals. Guests in the corporate suite were surprised to see two very young boys, Jon and Josh. We even overheard one guest saying, “wow, these two are the youngest “representatives” from Motul”.
Thank you, Motul, for the invitation and great hospitality. We certainly hope and look forward to returning to Sepang in October to watch the Moto GP.
