Nescafe Karting Championship (Round 4)
28-29 August 2010, Kartright Speedway
This entire week, I was on medication to cure my throat infection, at the same time busy preparing and sitting for my CA2 exam, so I was under a lot of pressure even before the race.
On Saturday, day 1 of the race, qualifying was not the best for me. I only salvaged second place as the track conditions did not suit my kart set-up. But, I managed to overtake and win both Heat 1 and Heat 2.
Today (Sunday), it was raining all day long. With a balanced kart, I dominated Pre-Final and Final. Finished both with more than 10 seconds of breathing space ahead of my opponents.
I am happy that my team-mates and I took the first, second and third position in the cadet category. I am looking forward to the next round of the Singapore Karting Championship, which is the round 5 and final race for 2010.
